Raised in an international household, Eric grew up splitting his time between Sweden and rural Wisconsin, where he fell in love with acting from watching Shakespeare plays at the nearby American Players Theatre. After getting accepted into The Juilliard School’s Actor Training Program in his senior year of high school, Eric moved to New York to study with such notable teachers as Michael Kahn, Moni Kakim, John Stix, and Christopher Bayes. He also took master classes with alumni Laura Linney, Kevin Spacey, and Val Kilmer. Upon graduating, he moved to Los Angeles.
Over the years, he's performed in many films, TV series, and theater productions and has collaborated with such exciting artists as Annette Bening, Joe Mantegna, Mike Mills, and the Duplass brothers. In addition to acting, Eric occasionally writes and produces for the stage and screen. His latest film which he also directed, is the Swedish language domestic drama Till Max that recently debuted at the Culver City Film Festival.
Eric is also a multifaceted musician and songwriter, producing music for film and theater, as well as for his latest music project, Apartment Ghost.
